These probe ports will work on most grills or smokers, with one slight modification. You will need to drill a hole in an exterior wall of the cooker. Port fastens in place by tightening the retaining nut against inside wall.
Probe Port can then be loosened to allow probes to pass through, or tightened around probes, to prevent excessive smoke escape.
Made out of stainless steel.
Directions for installing on cooker 3/16" or less in thickness:
1. Drill a pilot hole with a 1/4" bit.
2. Drill the pilot out to 5/8". Depending on the gauge of metal being drilled, you may want to gradually "step-up" from 1/4" to 5/8" bits.
3. Insert port and using an 18mm wrench, fasten the locking washer on the interior of the grill or smoker.
4. Insert probe and tighten the collar with an adjustable wrench to collapse the port around the probe.
