Bradley electric smoker
I bought this Bradley smoker in December of 2023 and I am very happy with the purchase. I had a Masterbuilt electric smoker I bought used some years ago which used small wood chips for the smoke source. It needed some new parts which you can find on line, but then no way to actually purchase them, so in the trash it went. I really only like to use this type of smoker for long cooks so I do not have to babysit a fire for a long time. I could really never achieve that smoke flavor because the wood chips would never fully burn because of the heating element would only heat long enough to achieve temperature. This Bradley smoker has a heating element separate from the heating element so you get a full burn on your bisqeuttes. The bisqeuttes do not burn fully to ash, but this is by design to prevent the acidic ash from tainting the flavor. The temperature on my first cook held great, and had a great smoke flavor. This unit is very easy to use, but when you look at the directions for use make sure you are following the instructions for your particular model number. This electric smoker has the best smoke flavor next to a stick of charcoal smoker. I have recently also learned that the smoke ring you get through a pellet smoker is actually not good for you as the smoke ring actually contains N02, and that is because of the acidic ash. This unit does not produce a smoke ring which is ok because it really offers no value of any kind. I hope this helps you in your decision. I have received nothing in compensation for this review.
